about

The spring represents a dramatic change of seasons, from the harsh winter to the hope of the spring - a change. From change there comes new life, new relationships, and new meaning. The Spring is an ode to our younger years where change was immanent and a necessary part to coming of age. The transition and change from winter to spring, whether positive or negative always resulted in new life within the spring; and anticipation of what is to come.

Upper Lakes Edmonton, Alberta

Upper Lakes is a three piece Edmonton alternative band with pop and experimental influences. Their sound is defined by heavy use of synthesizer and samplers. One could say their songs range from heavy alternative rock, to melodic sombre piano ballads.
